Shrink-Wrapping

In the harsh northern winters that we are exposed to, it is always recommended that you use shrink-wrapping as the method  of covering your boat when stored outside. A water/pest proof barrier that protects your investment from all the elements, shrink-wrap is fast and form fitting and much more economical than paying someone to custom build a canvas cover.  The cost of shrink wrapping your boat works out to about one tenth the cost of sewing an equivalent cover in canvas. Now with the ability to recycle the plastic wrap it makes it a much more practical form of covering than tarps or canvas. And we install it!

Minimum charge for shrink-wrapping is $250.00. 

Price: $1.40 per square foot (measured length x beam).

Plus $0.30 pre square foot for Flybridge 

$0.15 per square foot for radar arch 

$0.30 per square foot for mast up

$0.40 per square foot for in water 

The customer is responsible for dropping the canvas, canvas bows, antennas, and any other equipment that may protrude from the boat.  We'll be responsible for building the frame, taping the gas vents, installing the belly band, shrink wrapping the boat, installing air vents and foam where applicable between the belly band and hull.
